I went to Ireland for a family trip but was happily surprised when I was informed that there was going to be a biking festival during the same time that I was there. Biking? Festival? A new country? Count me in!
The ride was fantastic, the people were wonderful and it was incredible to experience biking in another country. And! In a city where the streets are ridiculously narrower than Atlanta’s.
Why not, indeed.
We at The Mobile Social are now in talks with The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition to help make the first week long Atlanta Cycling Festival happen next year (that's 2014, folks).
Here’s your call to action: email us and let us know you want to help/want it to happen.
Want to lead a bike ride? Awesome. Want to curate your own foodie tour? Fantastic. Want to host a night tour of Atlanta skylines? Wonderfully great.
See what we’re going for here? Want an awesome festival and an awesome ride? Help us make it happen! Based on responses, we’ll gauge interest and act accordingly. We want your help... and we want to know that you want it.
So, until that time, I leave you with this ancient Viking goodbye: RRRRAWWWRRRRRRRRRRR.
